Our Company

HWP (husband wife and partner) was founded in 2011 by a family (Francisco, Zania and son). Since then our family have been working for yours. We work hard to make your dream a reality.
Decks is our signature job: we master them since the beginning.
Interior remodeling our next strong feature.
We are fully licensed (CSL # 106455) if you want to look up. HIC (Home improvement card) is for client protection together with the office of consumer protection.
We have our own engineers and architects.
We hold all insurance required and provide certificates for clients peace of mind.

I contacted Milli for a quote to add a bathroom, closet, and deck in a master bedroom. The prices were reasonable so I asked for a quote on a bigger project. It seemed that Milli was not interested in doing the project since I had a designer to work with. She kept making comments such as "what do YOU want?" When I told her exactly what I wanted. It took 3 months for her to ultimately say she was confused on the project. I gave her direct contact to the designer and she never called the designer for clarification. I would have respected it more if she said she did not want to do it. There was much time wasted and it held my big project up 3 months.I have decided to find another contractor. This was not a good experience and don't recommend.

We're VERY pleased with the quality of work that was completed by Rodrigo and co. The only downside (which is attributed to Covid) was the pricing...but honesty, this was comparable if not better than other quotes we received. They demolished, framed and completely built our front porch within four (4) total days over a few weeks. I would reco their services if you're looking for great and timely work...also Rodrigo was extremely pleasant.

HWP repaired and replaced cedar shingles and re-painted my entire house. The house looks great and we really appreciated working with Zana and Francisco. The estimate was accurate. This is a reliable business that I will likely hire again for a future remodeling or painting job.

HWP Construction honestly gave my home and its environment a new life through carefully planned, extensive construction of a high tech composite deck, and a full exterior rework and painting. I am someone who knows "a little" about contractor relationships and I can honestly say that dealing with HWP has been the most positive contractual relationship I have made. I will hire them again and again. HwP has been the go-to Construction company for our HOA for several years. They've done several large projects for us such as installing new front stairs and an entire 3rd floor roofdeck. They even handle our snow removal services, which is a godsend in these New England winters! The particular carpenter I worked closey with was the talented Josimar Chavez, who was a gem: detail-oriented, polite, and always focused on getting the job done well. We will definitely continue to use HwP in the future!

Zania is a construction manager devoted to her craft. She also wants to pet your cats, which is quite charming. What made me give top marks to Zania is that she was fully engaged in the process from first contact, to getting a quote, to the building process and explaining the final bill. She made a small project at our house a priority because she understood that getting this small project done would improve our house quite a bit and make a difference in our lives. Greatly appreciated!Francisco, our carpenter, is incredibly skilled and notably compulsive, which I think is typical of carpenters. He knew how to deal with an old, frequently reconfigured home and insisted on doing everything the right way, which pays off 100% of the time, even if it’s more time consuming in the moment. I would hire Francisco for any project.The job was great!
